Anxiety

All of us experience anxiety from time to time. This is entirely normal because anxiety is part of our ‘fight or flight’ survival mechanism, it works like an alarm system and we have it to protect us.

It’s a normal, natural human response to feeling threatened or in danger. However the mechanism works so well that on occasions the anxiety alarm is going off inside of us whether the danger is real or imagined.

Therefore for some this feeling is happening more often than it should be, outside of what is considered normal and expected. When an individual is finding their day to day life is being impacted greatly by anxiety and it’s stopping them from doing things they would normally do then it is probably the time to consider seeking some help and support with these feelings and working through any problems causing them.
